Employing Our Future
YEAH! Corps’ mission is to employ under-resourced youth, ages 14 through 18, through art & design, empowering them to be change makers Southeastern Massachusetts. Teens are paid an hourly wage and held to a high standard to create engaging, innovative, art + design products for businesses, municipalities, and individual clients. Clients pay real money for the creativity and products young people.
During the important high school years, young people are developing life-long interests as they begin the transition into adulthood. They are hungry for community, looking for role-models of future success, enthusiastic to build skills through doing, and are passionate to have a real voice in the world. The learning is through doing – problems solved, resources identified, and everyone contributing – and the successes build self-confidence to thrive in school and beyond. Revenue is a balance of earned income from selling goods and services, workforce development funding and contributed support.
It is through work for hire that YEAH! gives young people the respect and responsibility of paid employment and changes the way adults view the young people of their communities. The educational and professional development of YEAH! youth is built through the necessary collaboration between young people and adults required for the successful completion of creative projects.
Young artists of YEAH! are creative, adept, and efficient in transforming spaces to better represent the vibrancy of their communities.
Through these projects YEAH! gives young people the respect and responsibility to practice adulthood in a safe and collaborative environment. Through commerce, it brings business and adults into their world as equal partners. With a paycheck, professional studio, and a supportive mentoring environment, YEAH! show young people their value to inspires them to see into their future and all they can accomplish.
Youth Employment
One of our core programs is providing employment opportunities to under-resourced youth. We believe that by providing these opportunities, we can empower youth to become leaders of their community and create a positive impact. Our employment program offers various positions related to art and design, including graphic designers, product designers, and more.
Art + Design Education
We believe that art and design education is critical to developing skills and creativity. That's why we offer various educational programs related to art and design. Our programs include after-school programs, summer camps, and more.
Art + Design Products
We offer a range of art and design products that are created by our talented team of designers. Our products include t-shirts, posters, stickers, and more. By purchasing our products, you're not only supporting our mission but also supporting under-resourced youth.
Community Engagement
We believe that community engagement is essential to creating a sustainable impact. That's why we offer various community engagement projects that focus on bringing art and design experiences to the community. Our projects include community art installations, public art projects, and more.
Business Partnerships
At YEAH! Corps, we partner with businesses to create innovative and engaging art and design products and experiences. Our partnerships provide opportunities for under-resourced youth to develop their skills, gain experience, and create a positive impact in the community.
Volunteer Opportunities
